Trip Necessities:
Here are some suggestions for your next fishing trip. Weather changes and accidents happen. Be prepared for all types of weather. Have rain gear and sun block with you. Bug spray, first aid kit, lip balm, aspirin and any required medications should be packed and ready. Also bring water food and a signaling device such as a whistle or air horn. Also tell someone where you are going and when you will be back.
A hat and sunglass (preferably polarized) are recommended as are comfortable shoes for standing or walking for long periods of time.
Don’t forget to have Coast Guard approved floatation devices for everyone with you on the water.
We suggest having all these items in a bag or back pack that can be easily taken on every trip. Most people will add several other items to our suggested list so take time and come up with your own and let us know what else you have found helpful to have on hand.
