Loren Davidson
1992 Minnesota B.A.S.S.
State Champion.
Background:
Loren began his bass fishing career with the Minnesota B.A.S.S. Federation club, Gopher Bass, in 1990. As a member of Gopher Bass, he won the Minnesota B.A.S.S. State Championship in his third year. That win gave him the confidence to seek out other tournaments, which proved to be more difficult than it is today. Most of the information about tournaments in the state was "word of mouth", there was no single source of information. In 1994, Loren began publishing the Classic Bass Newsletter that listed all of the tournaments, and the results, that were held in the state. In 1995, with the advent of the Internet, and with the help of the founding members of Classic Bass, the Classic Bass website was born. It is now the most complete, and accessible, source of tournament information for anglers in the state.
Loren is also the Webmaster for the Classic Bass Network Web Site and allowed us to publish some of his articles from www.classicbass.com
