How to Launch a Boat:

If have never launched a boat or just need a little practice, find an empty parking lot to do a little warm up or practice. The key is not to over steer causing the trailer to jack-knife. If you jack-knife the trailer, pull forward to straighten the trailer out before continuing

Have all of your gear on board, the key in the ignition, drain plug in, tie down straps removed before you pull onto the launching ramp area. Make sure that someone is onboard or that you have the boat tied to a rope and can control it as it enters the water. Once the boat is off of the trailer, tie it to the dock or beach it and pull the trailer out of the water and return to your boat as quickly as possible. Make sure to tie off on the dock and stay at the end or opposite side of the ramp to leave room for others still putting in.
